Who we are and how we work
Domestic and commercial electrical services from £XX (call for exact quote) covering installations, repairs, EICRs, rewires, lighting, sockets and EV chargepoints. Serving Staplehurst (TN12) and nearby areas including Headcorn, Marden, Frittenden, Sissinghurst and Cranbrook. NICEIC approved, Part P registered, £5m public liability and a 12‑month workmanship guarantee.
What you can expect
When you contact us, we’ll discuss the work, arrange a suitable visit where needed, and provide a fixed price in writing before anything starts. We’ll explain what the price includes, any access requirements, and the expected installation timeline, so you can make decisions without uncertainty.
- Clarity: We’ll ask practical questions about your property and requirements.
- Reassurance: We’ll identify relevant safety checks before work is scheduled.
- Control: You’ll receive the scope and price in writing, with no surprise additions.
- Confidence: We’ll confirm the planned date, likely duration, and any preparation needed from you.
For older Staplehurst homes, we may need to inspect existing wiring before pricing. If conditions differ from what was described, we’ll explain the issue and agree any revised work before proceeding.
Our promises
We want you to feel secure before any electrical work begins:
- We will provide a written fixed price for the agreed work before starting; any changes to the scope may alter the price and will be agreed with you first.
- Our electricians are NICEIC-approved and our company is registered for Part P where applicable; Part P applies to certain types of domestic electrical work, so not all jobs require notification to building control.
- We carry public liability and professional indemnity insurance that cover our work; if you need to see policy details or limits, please ask.
- We offer a 12-month workmanship guarantee on our completed work; this covers defects due to our installation but does not extend to damage from misuse, accidental damage, or unrelated wear and tear.
If anything changes during the job, we will explain it clearly and agree the next step with you before proceeding.
A fixed price in writing before we start
A fixed price in writing gives you a clear cost before any electrical work begins. We assess the scope, materials, access requirements and any necessary testing so your quote reflects the work required. It includes VAT, labour, parts and the relevant certificate where applicable.
Our fixed price transparency means we explain what is included, any assumptions we have made and any exclusions before you decide. You’ll know the agreed amount, rather than facing an open-ended hourly total.
We won’t start until you have accepted the written quote. The bill won’t be larger than that quoted price for the agreed scope. If unforeseen conditions are found, such as damaged concealed cable, we’ll stop, explain the safety issue and provide options before proceeding. This written quote assurance helps you approve work with confidence.
NICEIC approved, Part P registered, fully insured
For added reassurance, we’re NICEIC approved, Part P registered and covered by £5 million public liability insurance. Our NICEIC accreditation means our electrical work is assessed against recognised technical and safety standards. It also gives you a clear route to check our status before instructing us.
Part P registration matters where domestic electrical work is notifiable under Building Regulations. We’ll identify when this applies, complete the work safely and provide the appropriate certification or notification information. You shouldn’t have to guess whether alterations to a consumer unit, new circuits or other work require formal compliance.
Our public liability cover protects against insured risks arising from our work at your property. We’ll explain the scope of the proposed work, flag any safety concerns found during inspection, and make sure you have the relevant documentation when the job is complete.
12-month workmanship guarantee
Every installation and repair we complete is covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee. If a fault arises because of our installation or repair work, contact us promptly and we’ll assess it, then put qualifying workmanship right without additional labour charges.
Our guarantee applies to the work described on your written quote and invoice. It doesn’t replace manufacturers’ product warranties, which may have different terms. Workmanship exclusions include damage, misuse, alterations by others, water ingress, power surges, pre-existing defects, and faults in customer-supplied equipment or unsuitable existing wiring.
We’ll explain any limitations before work starts, particularly in older Staplehurst properties with ageing cables or concealed defects. Ask us about warranty transferability if you sell or let the property during the guarantee period; we’ll confirm what documentation we need and whether the cover can pass to the new owner.
Where we work
Our electricians travel to homes and businesses in the Staplehurst neighbourhoods and villages nearest to that base — specifically Headcorn village, Marden, Frittenden, Sissinghurst and Cranbrook — attending properties rather than operating a trade counter.
That level of detail helps us allow appropriate time, order the correct materials and make safe working arrangements specific to locations around Staplehurst.
If your address is outside the Staplehurst TN12 area or the specific neighbourhoods we’ve listed, we’ll tell you whether we can attend from our Clinton Business Centre base before making any commitment.
How to get in touch
To request a fixed-price electrical quote in Staplehurst, call us on 07366 354 116 during our 7am–6pm Monday–Saturday hours. We’ll discuss the electrical work, property location and any safety concerns so we can decide whether photographs, further details or a visit are needed before quoting.
Our phone options also include a 24-hour emergency line for urgent electrical hazards. If there’s immediate danger, such as exposed live wiring, burning smells or smoke, switch off power only if it’s safe to do so and call emergency services where necessary.
Alternatively, use our contact form to send your address, preferred contact time and a clear description of the work. You can attach photos where helpful. We’ll use the information only to assess the job and provide a written fixed price before work starts.
